North Carolina Social Work Scholarships Guide - 2024

To provide financial support for college to graduating high school seniors who attend a Forsyth County high school and reside in the Foundation’s service area.

To assist graduates of high schools in Charlotte-Mecklenburg (public or private schools) to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

To provide assistance for teachers to increase their understanding of and appreciation for various world cultures, with preference for teachers of social studies and history.

To celebrate and support the continuing education for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ allied students who exhibit courage and leadership in their schools and communities.

To provide educational support to deserving students from Stokes County public high schools.

To provide a college scholarship to graduating high school senior from a Forsyth County high school who will attend an accredited four-year college or university to be applied toward tuition, fees, room and board, and other college expenses.

To provide general support toward the cost of Economic Development Institute.

To provide financial support to students who are attending a Forsyth County high school and reside in the Foundation’s service area of Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin, and Wilkes counties.

To provide financial assistance for graduating high school seniors in Mecklenburg County intending to attend an accredited college or vocational school in Mecklenburg County.

To provide financial assistance for college to graduating high school seniors who attend a Forsyth County high school and reside in the Foundation’s service area.
