To support innovative and cross-disciplinary work in the arts and humanities.

To provide financial support to students of library and information science who wish to attend the World Library and Information Congress of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA).

To encourage individuals working for print music retailers to further their education and professional development by attending the annual RPMDA convention.

To encourage research and scholarship in black theatre and to expose the beauty and complexity of the inherited theatre work of our African American ancestors, as well as, preserve and develop Black Theatre’s unique art form.

To provide annual continuing education scholarships to subsidize the educational efforts of members.

P.L.A.Y. has always made a point to promote compassion towards animals in both our personal and professional lives. From working directly with local shelters to donating products to animals in need through our Warm Bellies Initiative with the Petfinder Foundation, animal welfare has always been a staple of our business. We know there are plenty of young minds out there that are equally passionate about helping animals in need.
In an effort to encourage them and promote this cause, P.L.A.Y. will be awarding our 3rd annual $1,000 scholarship to a high school student who best exemplifies our core beliefs.

To support school food service personnel who have an interest in furthering their career and refining their skills in school food service.

To provide students the opportunity of gaining real-working experience in a chosen field.

To fund graduate students pursuing advanced degrees in audiology or speech-language pathology at accredited institutions in the United States.

To support Washington Hospital District students who are pursuing studies in a health-related field.
