National Social Work Scholarships Guide - 2025

The award celebrates Jewish teens who have demonstrated impressive leadership and are actively engaged in community service projects that embody the value of tikkun olam, or repairing the world. Up to 15 selected teens from across the United States are acknowledged annually for their visionary actions with an award of $36,000, to be used to further their philanthropic work or their education. The award is open to Jewish teens who are residents of the US and are between the ages of 13-19 at the time of applying. Teen’s projects can help either the Jewish community or the general community, so long as teens have not been compensated for their services. Nominations are due on December 18, 2020 and applications are due January 8, 2021. Teens do not have to be nominated to apply, however those who have been nominated must also apply. To provide support, education, access, and service opportunities to individuals from identity groups who are underrepresented in the association community.

To further human capital development of the Tibetan people by supporting the pursuit of excellence among Tibetan students in the graduate field of their choice.

To provide financial assistance to students pursuing a higher education.

To provide undergraduate scholarships to the children of employees of Hanes Companies, Inc., USA.

To provide assistance to students of Iranian ancestry who are pursuing educations at top U.S. universities.

To help deserving science students attend college.

To support minorities and female students studying in related fields or the exact fields: ocean and/or coastal: engineering, social science, marine education, marine stewardship, and resource management disciplines.

To provide support for independent graduate-level studies in oceanography, marine biology, or maritime archaeology (including all science, engineering, social science and resource management of ocean and coastal areas), particularly by women and members of minority groups.

To assist female students who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces and are pursuing degrees in medical fields.
