Licensing Renewal and Continuing Education
Licenses must be renewed every two years, and the continuing education (CE) hours requirements are based on your level of licensure. LCSWs need 40 hours, and SSWs need 20 hours. A minimum of three hours must be spent on professional ethics and two hours on suicide prevention.
