Tennessee Social Work License Options
Licensure by Reciprocity
If you’re licensed in another state, you can submit an application for licensure by reciprocity in Tennessee. The license you apply for should be equivalent to the one you already hold in your state. Include an Out of State Licensure Verification Form, ASWB scores, and official transcripts. The Board will review the information, and if they conclude you meet their state requirements, you’ll be issued the appropriate license.
