South Carolina Social Work License Options
Licensing Renewal and Continuing Education
Social work licenses are up for renewal every two years with a fee of $90. Twenty CE hours must be conducted by a BSW, MSW, or DSW licensed social worker. The other 20 hours can come from other sources. Seminars, workshops, or other classes you attend must be in administration, psychology, sociology, child and family development, etc. The guidelines for CE are all laid out on the Board’s website.
