To support students pursuing degrees in the medical field at community colleges in the University of Hawaii system.
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and a graduate of a public high school in the state; must be enrolled in a community college in the University of Hawaii system; must be majoring in a medical or health care-related field, including dental hygiene, health care administration, health science, medical assisting, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, or public health; must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and demonstrate financial need.
