Applicants must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, an accredited college or university; applicants currently enrolled in a college or university must have a minimum GPA of 2.8; must be aged 18 and older.
Finalist essays may be posted on social media to be voted on via likes, shares, tweets, and Google +1s; social voting is not the sole basis of the final decision, but may influence the eventual outcome, which is determined by Thomas J. Henry staff.
