To provide financial assistance to Vermont high school graduating seniors seeking certificates or undergraduate degrees.
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who resides in Athens, Grafton, or Bellows Falls, Vermont; applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; must attend an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding; must demonstrate financial need and a strong education/work ethic.
Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, and recommendation letters. Preference will be given to students seeking certification in a vocational or technical field. Preference will also be given in the following order: Athens first, Grafton second, and Bellows Falls third.
