To provide financial assistance to students pursuing a specific field of study.
Applicants must be students enrolling or currently enrolled at Tennessee State University or Vanderbilt University; must have at least “B” overall GPA during the last two years of high school; must have attended high school within the 40 counties of Middle Tennessee.
Recipients are selected based on academic records, test scores, extracurricular activities, work experience, community involvement, recommendations about leadership and character, merit, and financial need.
