To support local students pursuing vocational or technical degrees.
Applicants must be a resident of Wood County, WV, or Washington County, OH, who intends to pursue study in a vocational or technical field; must be attending or planning to attend Washington County Career Center, Washington State Community College, Wood County Schools Vocational Tech Center, or WVU-P Caperton Center.
Selection will be based on financial need, a good work ethic, and personal commitment to completing a course of vocational or technical studies. In any given year, if no qualified applicants are found from Washington County, OH or Wood County, WV, then applicants from the states of OH and WV shall be considered.
