To assist students in attaining their career aspirations and building a foundation of future public works leaders.
Applicants must be Nevada residents or attended/graduated from a Nevada high school; must plan to enroll in a course of study leading to a career in the field of public works, public administration or a related private enterprise (e.g. business, architecture, science, engineering, etc.); and must be entering their freshman year or currently enrolled in college.
Awards will be given based on nominations by APWA members; financial need-income, family size; desire; achievements; grades. Preference will be given to students attending a Nevada school.
