To support local students pursuing degrees in elementary education.
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors residing in Wood County in WV, or Tyrone School District in PA; must be planning to attend a full-time four-year accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Elementary education; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Selection is based on academic performance and achievement along with a strong history of community service and demonstrated leadership in school and community activities.
