Applicants must be graduating high school seniors in the Escondido High School District planning to enroll full-time at an accredited four-year university in the United States; minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; an active member of a Key Club (sponsored by an Escondido Kiwanis Club); have a demonstrated financial need.
Preference is given to applicants who have a record of involvement in their community as demonstrated by their extra-curricular activities, community or church service, or work experience.
