To encourage students of different backgrounds, educational interests and to promote leadership and diversity in the LGBTQ community.
Applicants must be LGBTQ+ students or allies and graduating high school seniors entering a bachelor’s degree program who have demonstrated leadership skills and have a passion for making positive social change; must be residents of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington (applicants are considered residents of one of these states if they currently live within that state or have lived within that state for at least one year at any time within the last five years).
Priority given to LGBTQ+ students who need it most, for example, those who have faced family rejection and/or systemic barriers to educational access or have demonstrated commitment to advancing justice and the well-being of their communities.
