To provide financial assistance to students pursuing a specific field of study and who are most in need.
Applicants must be undergraduate juniors, seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in music at an accredited university, college or institute; must have “B” average and demonstrate potential for excellence in music.
Recipients are selected based on academic records, test scores, extracurricular activities, work experience, community involvement, recommendations about leadership and character, merit, financial need; preference will be given to African Americans.
