To award scholarships to students majoring in degree programs most commonly hired by members of this trade association and to raise awareness about the performance plastics industry.
* Be employed by an IAPD member company, or
* Be a child of an employee of an IAPD member company, or
* Be enrolled in a professional sales program (major, minor or concentration), business, communications, marketing, engineering, supply chain management, information technology, accounting, human resources program or related programs.
* Candidates must have a minimum of a 3.5 cumulative GPA based on a 4.0 scale.
Recipients are ranked based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and presentation.
DURATION: (Length of time an award is active – usually one, two, or four years): One year, for upcoming school term
NUMBER OF AWARDS: average of 18 each year
