To recognize individuals in emergency medical services (EMS) and assist them in pursuing further education.
Applicant must be an active member (with a minimum of one year of service) or be a spouse or dependent child of an active member of a Vermont-licensed ambulance services or first response squad in Addison or Chittendon County, VT; must be enrolled at least three-quarters time in a school approved for federal Title IV funding; must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and community involvement/service.
Selection is based on financial need, academic achievement, and essay.
