To provide financial support to qualified individuals who want to pursue their educational goals.
Applicants must be students from Gloucester County; must be studying marine science, nursing, ministry, medicine, humanities, agriculture, biology or any other basic science.
Selection of recipients will be based on financial need and the scholarship criteria; preference will be given to students from the York District attending Virginia Wesleyan College or another Methodist college.
