To provide financial support to help fund graduate education for students preparing for a career as health administrators.
Applicants must be first or second year graduate students pursuing a degree in healthcare administration or a comparable degree program (MBA, MPH, MHA, MPA, MSN or BSN); must demonstrate financial need and a commitment to community service; must excel academically (minimum 3.0 GPA); must be member of a federally classified ethnic minority group and have proof of U.S. citizenship.
Selection is based on leadership potential, academic achievement, community involvement, commitment to health care administration, financial need and overall professional maturity.
