To assist graduating seniors from Jackson County high schools and other Jackson County residents who are attending college.
Applicant must be resident of Jackson County, Michigan; must be Ethnic Minority (non-Caucasian); must be graduating high school senior, returning learner, or student enrolled in the Jackson College Prison Education Initiative who has completed at least one semester and is housed in a Jackson County Corrections facility; open to any field of study, with special consideration given to manufacturing (including any discipline used in direct support of operating a manufacturing facility).; must demonstrate personal responsibility through work, community or family activities.
