To support Marion County graduates pursuing degrees in behavioral health, mental health, human social services, psychology, or psychiatry.
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from a Marion County high school, OR a senior and candidate for graduation/ completion from a home school, eSchool, digital/online school, virtual academy, community school, or other state recognized charter non-public school (must have been a Marion County resident for at least two years preceding graduation/completion); high school students must have a 2.0 minimum GPA and college students must have a 2.5 minimum GPA; must intend to major in behavioral health, mental health, human social services, psychology or psychiatry.
Special consideration is given for the following: good citizenship through community service and volunteering; held a regular part- or full-time job during high school; demonstrated financial need or hardship.
