To help future teachers in California afford a college education.
Applicants must have graduated from a public high school in San Diego County and resided in San Diego County for at least one year; must be current college/university students currently pursuing teaching credentials and/or student teaching at a university in California with the goal of a career as a K-12 public school teacher in California; must have a cumulative minimum 3.0 GPA, shown a commitment to their community through meaningful community service, and have a demonstrated financial need.
Selection will be based on the committee criteria.
