To award a one-time college scholarship to a deserving high school
senior whose body of work both inside and outside the classroom has
demonstrated a special dedication to law-related education with academic
excellence.
– Student must be a high school senior planning to attend an accredited
4-year college
– Student must have a GPA of 3.5 (or equivalent) or higher
– Student must submit a 500-750 word essay explaining “The Importance of
Law-Related Education in Today’s Society.”
– Student must complete the online application, submit a copy of their
latest transcript, a copy of their college resume, copies of their SAT/ACT
scores and at least 2 letters of recommendation
– Student must be a United States citizen
– Involvement with high school Mock Trial, We The People, or Model
United Nations competitions
– Local government or community involvement
– Law-related educational projects
– Leadership in school government, law-related or civic minded clubs
– Research papers/videos
– Drafting legislation
