To provide assistance and support to individual and families affected by chronic illness and help these students obtain a higher education degree.
Applicants must be diagnosed with an inherited bleeding disorder; must be a United States citizen or legally living permanently in the United States; must be entering or attending an accredited two-year or four-year undergraduate institution in the United States to obtain their first undergraduate degree; must have performed community service and/or volunteered time and energy to any organization within their community not associated with their school. Recipients may reapply for award for up to four years total.
