To provide a Goddard School graduate an opportunity to continue their educational journey
•The applicant must be a graduate of a Goddard School pre-kindergarten or kindergarten program. Goddard Systems, Inc. may verify the information provided by the applicant.
•The applicant must be a high school senior who is a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident or a non-U.S. citizen living legally in the United States.
•The written essay and video submitted with each application must be the original work of the applicant and may not contain the work, including the intellectual property, of others. This includes non-original music.
•Applicant must be a graduate of a Goddard School Pre-Kindergarten and/or Kindergarten program. Goddard Systems, Inc. may verify the information provided by the applicant.
•Applicant must be a high school senior who is a U.S. citizen, a permanent resident or a non-U.S. citizen living legally in the United States.
•Applicant must include a 500–1000 word essay highlighting how The Goddard School shaped your educational journey, your aspirations and why you should receive the Anthony A. Martino Memorial Scholarship.
•Applicant must provide one 30- to 120-second video addressing the prompt: “Describe the influence of your Goddard School experience.”
•Videos should be filmed horizontally
•Video size should be no larger than 1920 x 1080 pixels
•Videos longer than 120 seconds will not be considered and will make the corresponding application incomplete
•We strongly recommend not compressing the video
•To submit the video:
•Upload the original file to Vimeo
•Set the privacy to ‘Only people with a private link’
•Turn on ‘People can download this video’
•Provide the link to the video in the designated field on the application
•The written essay and video submitted with each application must be the original work of the applicant and may not contain the work, including the intellectual property, of others (including non-original music).
•Applicant must submit a transcript from all high schools attended with the application. Transcripts must indicate a cumulative GPA.
•A completed application must be submitted by May 13, 2022. Applications that are not complete (completed and signed application, essay, video and transcript(s)) by May 13, 2022 will not be considered. Please notify Goddard Systems, Inc. promptly if any of the information submitted on or with the application changes after submission.
•The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of funds available and applicant eligibility.
•The awards are for one year only.
•The recipient must use the scholarship to study or train at an accredited college or university of the recipient’s choice, including vocational and technical training programs or associate and bachelor’s degree programs.
•Relatives of Goddard Systems, Inc. employees, Goddard School franchisees or any Goddard School employees are not eligible.
•The scholarship finalists will be selected based on their academic records, participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, expressed goals and aspirations and the videos they submit.
•Financial need is not considered.
•Decisions of the Scholarship Committee relating to the selection are final, regardless of the results of any social media campaigns or activity.
•Information relating to the Committee’s evaluation of any applicant will be confidential.
•The applicant agrees to accept the final decision of the Scholarship Committee.
•The scholarship recipient will be selected without regard to race, age, gender, religion, political beliefs, employment status or any other factor that could constitute unfair or illegal discrimination.
•The application and all parts of the application package submitted will not be returned to the applicant.
