Applicant must be Reside in Escondido, CA or Valley Center, CA at the time of their application; Be graduating seniors or graduates of a high school in Escondido, CA or Valley Center, CA that have attended such high school for 4 years, or graduating seniors from a community college in that have lived in Escondido or Valley Center for the 4-year period prior to graduation; Plan to enroll full-time (12 units minimum) at an accredited two-year junior or community college in California, or an accredited four-year college or university in California, in all cases pursuing a bachelor’s degree; Have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale; Demonstrate the potential to achieve a successful academic experience leading to a bachelor’s degree at the college the applicant is planning to attend, e.g. having SAT and/or ACT scores that demonstrate an ability to complete the course work necessary to earn a bachelor’s degree at such college. SAT and ACT scores are considered in light of the college the applicant is planning to attend; Have a demonstrated financial need; Be United States citizens or permanent legal residents.
Selection shall be based on the Have a demonstrated financial need.
