To help students in Hawaii pay for post-secondary studies in health care fields.
Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled full-time in an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the United States (including U.S. territories); must be majoring in a health-related field; must be a resident of one of the following Leeward O’ahu zip codes: 96701, 96706, 69707, 96782, 96792, or 96797; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Preference will be given for the following: former recipients, majors in which there are current shortages, student’s likely to return to work in Hawaii, and students with GPAs between 2.5 and 3.75.
