To improve the teaching/learning process in the library and classroom and to supplement the recipient’s training by extending the use of educational communications and technology.
Applicants must be practicing K-12 school teachers or school library/media specialists pursuing a Master’s degree or professional certificate in the field; must be enrolled or planning to attend an accredited college.
Selection is based on: scholarship; experience in the field of educational media, information literacy, research skills and involvement in innovative programs; service and leadership in the profession; applicant’s statement; and letters of recommendation.
