Purpose for the scholarship To further the knowledge of the scholars for their careers that will contribute to the Goals of the Foundation.
Requirements to qualify? To be eligible to apply for a MEWF graduate scholarship, a college graduate must have been chosen as a recipient or a finalist for a MEWF undergraduate scholarship. The applicant must have been an undergraduate recipient, finalist or super finalist who has graduated within the previous five years. The applicant must commit to a course of graduate study and eventual career that will contribute to the Goals of the Foundation. The applicant must specify in the application the graduate school and the degree to be earned. Each graduate scholarship is school-specific and degree-specific; it is not transferable to another school or another degree. The recipient must maintain full-time enrollment (9 semester hours) for each semester for which the scholarship is paid. The graduate scholarship is eligible for annual renewal for a maximum of 4 years for a full-time student, provided the recipient makes satisfactory progress toward the specified degree.
