To help qualified students nationwide to achieve their educational dreams with the scholarship.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be active National JACL member; must be planning to attend full-time college, university, or any other institution of higher learning within the United States at the graduate level in the fields of education, social justice, and service to their communities.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection will be based on JACL involvement, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, community involvement, personal statement, and letter of recommendation.
