To provide a forum for research and education in the preparation, characterization, modification, and utilization of surfaces and interfaces in practical applications.

Requirements to qualify?
Graduate students who are interested in competing are required to submit an abstract for a poster or talk to one of the ASSD or ASSD co-sponsored sessions

Selection criteria among applicants
Finalists will be ranked based upon their presentation skills, scientific merit, and the originality of their work.
