Purpose for the scholarship
To assist students from Albuquerque Metro Area high schools who have overcome adversity and wish to pursue postsecondary education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from the Albuquerque Metro Area (Bernalillo, Valencia, Torrance, and Sandoval Counties) who has overcome personal adversity and demonstrates the following: hope, faith, and courage; thoughtfulness and service to others; and living life, pursuing dreams and enabling oneself. Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited two- or four-year postsecondary educational institution with the intention of pursuing a life dream and/or professional goal; must attend on a full-time basis.
