Purpose for the scholarship
To assist high school graduating students in their pursuit of continuing education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating seniors of Stephen Decatur High School who have selected their college and have been accepted for admission as full-time students and have 3.0 GPA.

Selection criteria among applicants
Consideration will be given for participation in leadership activities, in addition to consideration for activities that suggest pride in their school; consideration may also be given to work experience as a substitute for extracurricular activities.
