Purpose for the scholarship
To provide financial assistance to students residing in Cheatham County pursuing a specific field of study and who are most in need.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must reside in Cheatham County, Tennessee; and have a GPA of 2.0 or better. Homeschooled and adult learners may apply.

Selection criteria among applicants
Recipients are selected based on academic records, test scores, extracurricular activities, work experience, community involvement, recommendations about leadership and character, merit, financial need. Preference will be given to those candidates pursuing public service work.
