Purpose for the scholarship
To support Charlotte region LGBTQ+ students as they pursue college, university, or vocational degrees.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must self-identify as LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and/or any identity within the LGBTQ+ community); must be a current high school senior, high school graduate, or GED graduate under the age of 24 at the time of application; must be a resident of the following counties Time Out Youth serves: Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Iredell, Lincoln, Gaston and Union counties in North Carolina and York County in South Carolina OR have accessed Time Out Youth programming or services in the past year; must plan to enroll as a first time, full-time, degree-seeking student at an accredited non-profit academic or vocational institution in the summer or fall of the application year.
