Purpose for the scholarship
To celebrate and support the continuing education for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and LGBTQ+ allied students who exhibit courage and leadership in their schools and communities.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be a self-identified lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary student, or a straight ally; must have demonstrated service to the LGBTQ+ community; must be a resident of Guilford, Rockingham, Randolph or Alamance County, North Carolina; must be applying to attend, or currently attending, a technical/vocational program pursuing certification and/or a college or university pursuing an undergraduate college degree.
