Purpose for the scholarship
To support residents of Jackson County pursuing postsecondary education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Jackson County, MI, and a graduating high school senior, previous (undergraduate) recipients, home-schooled student, student already enrolled in and taking undergraduate classes, or returning learner; must demonstrate noteworthy achievement through work, community or family activities; must express an understanding of overcoming a personal obstacle in life; must have a cumulative GPA between 2.5-3.25; must demonstrate proof of financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to first generation college students.
