Purpose for the scholarship
To support Henry Ford Allegiance Health employee dependents who are pursuing postsecondary education in health care fields.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a dependent child of a Henry Ford Allegiance Health employee who has at least one year of service; must be enrolled in a two- or four-year accredited public or private college or university on a full-time basis; must be majoring in a health care related field; must demonstrate good citizenship qualities in school and community; must have maintained a minimum 3.0 GPA in the prior two years of formal schooling; must demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to students in their second year and above who demonstrate a commitment to a specific program.
