Purpose for the scholarship
To provide financial assistance to those students with financial hardship.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be U.S. Citizen; student graduating from a Texas high school no later than a school within a TTA member company’s service area; student achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher; student planning to attend a Texas college or university.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection will be based on special consideration will be given to students who will be pursuing a college degree in fields of study relevant to telecommunications (math, business, engineering, and computer science).
