Purpose for the scholarship
To encourage students in the CBCF seven county area pursue a college education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be graduating high school senior (or GED) from the CBCF seven-county service area; planning to attend Del Mar College, TAMU‐CC, TAMU‐K or Coastal Bend College; maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0; complete at least 9 credit hours each semester.

Selection criteria among applicants
Applicants are evaluated based on academic achievement and financial need.
