Levels of education pursued qualifying for scholarship
Purpose for the scholarship To support students who have overcome challenges and obstacles on their way to higher education, students with high levels of motivation and potential but low levels of financial resources, students who might be the first in their families to go to college, and students who need a helping hand to pursue postsecondary education.
Requirements to qualify? Applicant must be a current graduating high school senior attending any of the following high schools and planning to enroll full-time at a two-year or four-year college the following academic year: Menlo-Atherton High School, Woodside High School, Carlmont High School, Sequoia High School, Redwood High School, TIDE Academy, Summit, Everest, Canada Middle College, East Palo Alto Academy, Eastside College Prep, Summit Prep High School (Redwood City), Summit Everest High School. Or a current community college student attending any of the following schools and planning to transfer to a four year university as a full-time student in the following academic year: Canada, College of San Mateo, Skyline College, Foothill College, DeAnza College. Applicant must have a minimum 2.75 GPA, demonstrate financial need, and work, extracurricular, or volunteer experience.
