Purpose for the scholarship To support students who plan to pursue a career in police work, corrections, or other criminal justice fields.
Requirements to qualify? Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or previous graduate of high schools in the greater San Francisco Bay Area (includes San Francisco, San Mateo, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Benito counties); must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student or police academy cadet; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; must have a demonstrated desire and a plan to pursue a career in police work, corrections, or other criminal justice fields.
