Purpose for the scholarship
To assist ABC Stores and Company Island Gourmet Markets employees and their dependents in pursuing a higher education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students enrolled full or part-time at an accredited two or four-year institution; must be employees or dependents of employees of ABC Stores or Company Island Gourmet Markets; must be resident of Hawaii, Nevada, Guam, or Saipan; must have a minimum 2.7 GPA.

Selection criteria among applicants
Based on academic promise and commitment to higher education; demonstrated financial need; and, participation in community service and extracurricular activities.
