Purpose for the scholarship
To support dependents of HFM Foodservice employees who are pursuing higher education.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii who is attending an accredited two- or four-year not for profit institution in the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student; must be a child of an active status employee of HFM Foodservice with a minimum of 18 months of active service as of the application deadline (dependent child refers to biological, step, foster, legal ward, or adopted child under the age of 26; the employee must continue to be an active status employee at the time of the award); must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to those who performed community service or were involved in extracurricular activities.
