Purpose for the scholarship
To support seniors at Pahoa High School who are pursuing undergraduate degrees.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a senior at Pahoa High School and a longtime resident of the Pahoa community; must demonstrate community service; must be an undergraduate student planning to attend an accredited institution in the United States on a full-time basis; must be a U.S. resident.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law.
