Purpose for the scholarship
To provide scholarships to students in Hawaii, especially non-traditional students.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii who is attending an accredited two- or four-year not for profit institution in the United States as an undergraduate or graduate student; must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference given to renewal applicants. Preference also given for the following (in order of priority): Non-traditional student (including delayed enrollers, returning, transfer, and adult students), who is working and involved in community service; Non-traditional student who is working; Non-traditional student who is involved in community service; Non-traditional student.
