Purpose for the scholarship
To provide scholarships to students from public high schools in Hawai’i, who plan to attend college on the mainland and who demonstrate a commitment to world peace.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii and a graduate of a public school in Hawaii; must attend, or be planning to attend, an accredited college or university on the U.S. mainland; must be studying in the fields of history, government, citizenship, international law, or political or social science; must have a minimum 2.8 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to renewal applicants who continue to meet criteria.
