Purpose for the scholarship
To support the education of a Kauai resident in graduate studies focused on social justice, public or human service, education, or health.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii pursuing a graduate degree with a focus on social justice, public or human service, education, or health; must be a full-time student in a master’s degree program or pursuing doctoral studies at a college or university in Hawaii or on the US mainland; must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria among applicants
Preference will be given to students who intend to be employed on Kaua’i or in the State of Hawai’i.
