Purpose for the scholarship
To support a student from NROC who is pursuing a postsecondary degree in the arts.

Requirements to qualify?
Applicant must have lived at Northgate Apartments in Burlington, VT, for at least six months before applying; must be a Vermont resident and a U.S citizen or eligible non-citizen; must be seeking an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in art (any medium) at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV Funding; must be enrolled at least half-time; must demonstrate community involvement/service, a good education/work ethic, and significant barriers that limit or have limited access to a postsecondary education.

Selection criteria among applicants
Selection is based on recommendation letter, academic achievement, financial need, and portfolio.
